HOW HARD DID WE WORK?

Over the course of seven days we created over 50 custom animations, two full body character meshes, 120 materials, 50 props, 25 sound FX's, and two scores of music for the Main Menu and Gameplay.



OBJECTIVES:

Your spaceship is being overrun by an alien force that seems to be using the ventilation system. Your goal is to hold them off as long as possible and ensure they do not destroy the engineering facility.

FEATURES:

As you lose parts of the ship the game will become more difficult. Loss of the O2 facility will mean your character will need to pickup O2 cannisters to survive. Loss of the Power facility will remove all lighting and turn on emergency lighting only.

A complex wave system has been implemented that increases difficulty of spawns based on time alive. The longer you last the harder the wave system will try to overcome you.

Eventually you will fall to the hordes of monsters that are overtaking the ship. When you arrive at the engineering room the boss monster will spawn and you will enter a new gamemode where you must defeat the boss!

CONTROLS:

W, A, S, D - Movement
LShift - Sprint
LMB - Fire Weapon
RMB - Aim Weapon
ESC - Brings up ESC menu
TAB - Show path

Cool atmosphere, scary at times! Would've liked some screen effects for an indication of when you're losing health. The map is HUGE, some parts are strange (I walked through a door and fell out the map and also walked into a room where I kept losing health even when no creatures were near me). Besides a few little issues here and there the art and UI are amazing for a 1 week jam! Gameplay direction is a little confusing and I really wish the map showed me where I was. + No camera shake when the boss jumps down ;) Overall very impressive!

Thanks, yeah we need to figure out better methods for making the intro into the game easier! Appreciate the comments and playthrough.
